Bill Hollis
Bill Hollis was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and completed a degree in Engineering at Widener University in Chester, PA. He began his professional career at the Standard Oil/BP refinery in Marcus Hook, PA, and over 30 years with the company he advanced through a wide range of engineering, operations, marketing, and trading roles. His last position with BP Amoco was Vice-President of Supply in Chicago, Illinois. Like many others, Bill and his family began to feel the pull of Door County while living in Chicago. In 2014 Bill went to work for Buckeye Partners in Houston, Texas and was President of their Energy Services Division. After 38 years in the energy industry, he retired in 2021 and, with his wife Kellee, renovated their new home in Gills Rock.
Bill has been a Board Member of the Batavia, Illinois Community Chest and volunteered for a number of charitable organizations over the last 25 years. He and his wife Kellee have been married for 38 years and have one son, Zachary, who lives in Chicago.
