Dinka Bogaljevic
Classroom Teacher
I joined the teaching staff of Northern Door Children’s Center in 2022. Prior to coming to NDCC I worked at La Petite Academy in Illinois for several years and worked with infants and toddlers. While working at La Petite, I obtained my Child Development Associate’s certification and I continue to expand my education now that I teach at NDCC.
As a teacher, my main goal is to build positive early relationships with children and their families. I enjoy teaching through play and music. My most important task is to keep all my students safe.
I am from Bosnia and I moved to the US in 1996. I have three grown children, Dzenan, Dzana and Kenan. We vacationed in Door County for 18 years before buying a home in Fish Creek in 2021.
In the warmer months I enjoy gardening, going for walks, swimming, and spending time at the beach. During the winter months I like to cook, crochet, and spend time with my children when they come to visit.
