Classroom Teacher/Camp Cool Coordinator

I joined the teaching staff of Northern Door Children’s Center in 2022. I coordinate the Camp Cool program during the summer and teach in classrooms during the school year. I graduated from the University of Iowa in 2018 with my Bachelors of Business in Management, with minors in French and International Studies. During college, I participated in Camp Adventure where I taught swim lessons to children in Japan for one summer.

I have 6+ years of experience teaching swim lessons to children of all ages. Previously I was the coordinator at Iowa City Aquatics. I have also taught French at an after-school program in Iowa City.

I have a special interest in literacy, international language study, cultural immersion and swimming skills.  

I relocated to Sister Bay with my boyfriend Lucas from Iowa City, Iowa. I grew up in Omaha, Nebraska where my parents and brother still live. My hobbies in my spare time include reading, biking, kayaking, and crafts. I also really enjoy seeing the world and meeting new people!
